Easy Slow Cooker Butter Chicken
A great home-made alternative to takeaways or even a jar of curry sauce – this one in the slow-cooker so you can set and forget!

Ingredients
4-6
pieces
boneless chicken chopped into bite size pieces
or a number 20 chicken

onion diced fine

cloves
garliccrushed

tablespoons
butter
not margarine

oil

cumin

curry powder

cayene pepper
only if you want it really hot

curry paste
red is good

garam marsala

can cocnut cream

plain yogurt

+ 2 tablespoons tomatoe paste
salt to taste
Instructions
Stir fry the chicken,onion and garlic until chicken has some colour and the onion is clear. Put entire contents into the slow cooker.
Add the rest of the spices and ingredients and mix all together.
Place lid on cooker and cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 6 – 8 hours.
Serve with rice etc.
This is a fairly hot curry so if you want a milder version just use mild curry powder and do not add the cayene pepper.
